Operating Guidelines 2022 - 2023

• Primary Goals[+]

  The primary goals of the organization are fitness, love of Basketball, and camaraderie with other players.

• Participation[+]

  Players are to participate with respect and in the spirit of fair play and good sportsmanship.

• Membership[+]

  Membership is open primarily, but not exclusively, to residents of the City of Mississauga.

• Age[+]

  Members are to be 21 years or older

• Registration[+]

  All players must be registered to play, there are no exceptions.

• Arrival to the Gym[+]

  Players should not arrive more than 15 minutes prior to start time and should leave promptly at the end of the evening.

• Signature[+]

  Members must sign the release of liability form.

• Jersey[+]

  Members must wear the league jersey every night that they play or a fine may be levied.

• Fees[+]

  Members are subject to a fee based on Gym costs and insurance fees payable to The Peel District School Board.

• Member's Responsibility[+]

  Members are personally responsible for equipment or personal items loss; they are also responsible for damage to the Peel District School Board’s property.

• Respect[+]

  Players are to refrain from using profanity .

• Fair Play[+]

  There is to be no fighting or aggression toward other players, an infraction will result in Immediate termination of playing privileges.

• Infractions[+]

  Players may be cautioned or terminated if the above guidelines are not followed.

• Executive Decisions[+]

  Decisions regarding the interpretation and/or implementation of the above guidelines are at the sole discretion of the Chair and Co-Chair.

• Rules and Policies Review[+]

  All rules and policies are subject to review each year and to be determined by the Chair and Co-Chair.
